ALFAPARF Milano in collaboration with Mahogany Hairdressing of London brings the latest Trend Release from the runways of Milan. Inspiration for the COLOR TECHNIQUE The trends that characterized the proposals of Milano Runways? and inspired the color techniques of the collection: RETRO: THE RETURN OF COLOR Fashion deals with optimism: Following the period of sobriety imposed by the recent credit crunch, the fashion industry is once again celebrating the joy of living. The creations of all the leading fashion houses are enlivened by a spirit of renewal. Color once again takes a leading role on the catwalk, submerging us in a world of nuances. MODERN INCISION Perforated and engraved details are commonly found on modern design objects, for which the latest technologies are adopted to achieve unparalleled levels of precision and refinement. Today, this technique has been introduced into Italian Couture Fashion. PERFORATION & ENGRAVING constitutes the future of fabrics and accessories alike, and has dominated this season’s Milan runways. |
There are three distinct looks for this new Collection:
Loop Perforation
Color Technique: The tenderness and purity of blondes are underscored with precision and constancy by passionate and daring copper effects, granting volume to the style through its rounded section.
Colors used: Evolution of the Color 4.52 - 5.65 – 7.35 – 8.45
Cutting Technique: A modern version of the traditional bob. Framing the face like a halo, it enhances the features with its soft lines. The emphasis on rounded shapes and the return of flouncy skirts and mini-dresses focuses the attention on the hips. The skirt hems are turned up for a distinct puff effect.

Star Perforation
Color Technique: The precision of the new sectioned shapes enables chestnut brown to blend harmoniously with soft violet effects down the lengths of this look.
Colors used: Evolution of the Color 4.52 - 5.65 – 7.35 – 8.45.
Cutting Technique: This long shape features greater volume on the top sections as it gradually thins down toward the tips. The large fringe creates a mysterious and seductive look.

V Perforation
Color Technique: Two square sections play with the sense of symmetry, underscored by two V-sections. The hair is caressed by its particular color effects, which follow the cut with fluid ease.

Cutting Technique: Sensuality is for the daring. The focus of this look is on the asymmetric effect of the fringe and on the perimeter. The face plays an unexpected game of hide and seek. The Collection focuses on the asymmetric irregularity of off-the-shoulder garments. The dresses flow off the new erogenous zone: the shoulders.
